Unsere Produktion von VAER-Sneakern fällt größengerecht aus, was den gesamten Prozess relativ einfach macht. Sie sind ein bisschen breiter als unsere vorherigen Produktionsrunden, daher empfehlen wir dir, deine normale Größe zu wählen oder eine Nummer kleiner zu gehen, wenn du zwischen den Größen liegst.

Unsere Kunden (und wir selbst) haben die Erfahrung gemacht, dass sich die Schuhe nach ein paar Mal Tragen um die Füße formen!

Care Instructions

Coating or waterproofing should always be done before using your pair of VAER for the first time.

You can either do this with a normal coating spray or with beeswax.

How to:

Coat the beeswax onto the
shoes (do not forget the seams) and work the wax into the shoes by a dryer in the end. The product increases the water's resistance, revives colors, and prevents rapid soiling.

Our impact

Because we upcycle and give textile waste a new life, we use less ressources compared to a normal sneaker.

We have produced 762 VAER x STARK sneakers in total. By using discarded STARK uniforms instead of new textiles, we have saved around 1954 kg. of CO2 eqv. (see calculations here under the FAQ "how many resources have this collaboration saved")

Some of the leftovers were used for the Re:wair upcycling challenge, where sewing enthusiasts got to redesign the leftovers from the STARK workwear. We had over 40 people sending in designs, and we had participants with all sorts of skill levels and ages (the youngest was 11 years old and the oldest was 57) 🌟
